Our Story
Welcome to House of Aya. We’re an Australian fashion brand based in Brisbane that’s all about bringing a little extra colour (and, hopefully, a lot of extra happiness) into your life.
House of Aya collaborates with local artists to create unique (and beautiful!) beach and summertime pieces that really stand out. We were founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife team Adele and Ace Bevacqua. Adele designs all of our garments and accessories, and is also one of our featured artists, while Ace handles the operations side of the business. Every one of our pieces is ethically manufactured and made from high-quality materials.

‘House of Aya’ literally means ‘House of Colour’. But more than that, we love everything that colour represents: joy; warmth; creativity; life. And these things are at the heart of everything we do.
BEHIND THE BRAND
Ace and Adele co-founded House of Aya together (and are also married!) and are both avid supporters of small business and artists. What started as a dream 5 years ago for Adele, slowly evolved into recognising how her art could adapt nicely in to fashion. Studying part of her fashion degree in India, made her fall in love with intense colour and how much it can add to life. She first started attempting pyjamas, but met many manufacturing woes and eventually landed on resort wear. She loves a floaty, beautiful dress and it felt like a natural transition. House of Aya plans to expand their range into swimwear too, and looks forward to collaborating with more artists around Australia and the world!

We work closely with our manufacturers to ensure salaries are above supply chain averages, fair conditions and appropriate certification is in place.
