Our Story
Based in sunny Brisbane, House of Aya is an Australian sleepwear brand inspired by art, colour and the simple joy of getting ready for a good night's sleep. We collaborate with Australian artists to create vibrant sleepwear that's designed to feel as beautiful as it looks. Founded by husband-and-wife team Adele and Ace Bevacqua, every piece is thoughtfully designed, ethically made and created to bring a little more colour to your everyday.

‘House of Aya’ literally means ‘House of Colour’. But more than that, we love everything that colour represents: joy; warmth; creativity; life. And these things are at the heart of everything we do.
BEHIND THE BRAND
Ace and Adele co-founded House of Aya together (and are also married!) and are passionate supporters of both small business and Australian artists. What began as a dream for Adele more than five years ago gradually evolved as she realised her artwork could be transformed into something wearable.
While studying part of her fashion degree in India, Adele fell in love with vibrant colour and the joy it can bring to everyday life. Inspired by this, she began exploring ways to combine her love of art and fashion. Although the journey to production came with its fair share of challenges, her original vision never changed - to create beautiful, artist-designed pieces that make everyday moments feel a little more special.
Today, House of Aya collaborates with artists to create colourful, thoughtfully designed sleepwear that brings comfort, creativity and a little extra happiness to the women who wear it.

We work closely with our manufacturers to ensure salaries are above supply chain averages, fair conditions and appropriate certification is in place.
