Quick run down of yourself?
Have three kids under 6, a rescue staffy named Licky Lou and an amazing husband Ace who is also co-founder. I've been an artist for 7 years then decided to mix the two of art and fashion in 2023.

Why art and fashion?
I've been an artist for the last 7 or so years and surprisingly did a fashion degree at Uni! Though I left uni hating on fashion because I despised pattern-making and sewing, many years later I discovered I don't personally have to do the pattern-making but could still do the things I loved about fashion! Such as coming up with the designs, the concept, and seeing it come to life! There's nothing like it. It really is a dream come true.

3 words to describe your personal style?
Colourful, relaxed, comfortable

Denim shorts, emerald green tshirt, twoobs

House of Aya's ethos is all about colour - what does colour mean to you?
Everything! It impacts my mood, how I feel about the day, and how I feel about myself. It adds emotion and beauty to life - I couldn't live without it.

Currently reading / listening to / watching?
Life with under 5 year olds is busy haha, but I looooove the Showpo Lazy CEO podcast if I'm out for a walk. Watching... well tv shows date really quickly but I will share my fav movie, "We bought a zoo". If you haven't seen it, go and watch it. It'll make you want to buy a zoo and also the music by Jonsi is epiiiiic. In terms of music, I'm obsessed with Noah Kahan and Leon Bridges - all about chill!

Through my insta @adelebevacquaart or online, and my main stockists are The Modern Furniture Store on James St (Brisbane), The Toowoomba Gallery and Moree Gallery.

What inspires your art?
Hard to narrow down, but definitely the music I'm listening to, seeing other people's creative pursuits and nature.

Most happiest when...
I'm hanging out with my family and friends! We were made for community with others, I'm all about people first.

What's next for House of Aya?
We're looking forward to doing collabs with other artists, building out our range and really supporting the art scene in Australia!
